Scott Savage has held senior management positions with radio groups, stations and networks since 1987. He's worked for major broadcasting companies in sales and management positions in markets including New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, Washington DC, Baltimore and Pittsburgh.
While in Dallas from 1988-1999, he served as VP/GM of the Alliance/Infinity/CBS-owned radio stations, Executive VP & Chief Operating Officer of Pinnacle Broadcasting and VP/GM of the Texas State Networks. He’s executed successful startups of multiple Dallas radio stations including KYNG-FM Young Country; KSNN-FM Sunny 95; KEWS-FM All News; KZMP-FM El Gato; and KZZA-FM Casa. During Savage’s management of KYNG and KSNN, the stations’ value increased from $22 million at their inception in 1992 to $65 million when the properties were sold to Infinity in 1996.
Beginning in 1999, Savage worked on the West Coast, where he launched the FOX Sports Radio Network as its VP/GM in Los Angeles. He returned to Dallas in 2002 and joined Entravision Communications as VP/GM of the company's cluster of five radio stations. He succeeded in more than doubling the stations' cash flow during his four years of management and Entravision eventually sold the stations in 2006 for $92.5 million.
Married with two children, Scott grew up in northern New Jersey. He’s a graduate of Penn State University and completed the RAB Sales Management School at Wharton in 1987. He and his wife Marlyn moved to Sedona, AZ in 2017.
